The B SHARP MUSIC shop on the West Side is celebrating 2 years in Providence! Come on down and party with em! THE BUTCHERINGS are contributing to the party with a brand new CD launch and the SWEETTHIEVES will rock you, as well. MAHI MAHI, DEATH'S HEAD and SPHERES all join in on the action too.

Still more, more, more including video presentations by Jamie Drake and Matt Provost. Plus, contests, prizes and FUN GALORE! $6

Also, there is a series of shows in the works for mid May. I suppose you could call it a Festival of bands. Four from NYC and Four from Providence. Thats gonna happen on Friday the 13 at the Living Room and the following night (sat May 14th, duh) at Asterisk in Brooklyn. Same show both nights; different order and different sets i'm sure. So far, the line up consists of The BUTCHERINGS, SPHERES, MODERN DAY URBAN BARBARIANS, and DRAYTON SAWYER BAND. More to be added soon.
